Greetings fellow Sheeproject goers. America shall celebrate its 155th Thanksgiving this year and we wanted to share a little history on Thanksgiving (though not all). President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed it a national holiday October 3, 1863 for Americans to realize the mercy that God has given us and to give thanks to God. We hope that everyone has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving this year with family and friends. We are truly thankful to all those who support us in our endeavors! May God continue to bless us.
"I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens."
